A thought crossed my mind tonight. Having and wearing this badge, doesn't keep me safe and out of harms way. I do feel pride and honor. As God let's me everyday, I will do my best to help and save lives of the people around me and my city. This badge also reminds me of the men and women who do what I do on a daily basis, but don't come home. Everyday, these risktakers lose their life battle. I truly am proud to serve alongside them. If u get a chance, and you see one. Take the time to thank them. You never know, it might your life or house they will be saving next time.
